- 6 slices smoked bacon
- 1/3 cup onion, chopped
- 8 cups cabbage, sliced thin (1 large or 2 small cabbages)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
Directions

1In a deep skillet, cook bacon until done.

2Remove bacon from skillet, add the onions.

3Cook onions until translucent.

4Add cabbage and other ingredients, cover.

5Cook until tender.

6Crumble bacon back into pot and stir.
