- 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt (1%)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup each: 100% wheat bran high fibre cereal and all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup chopped peeled apple

1COMBINE yogurt, butter and egg in large bowl.

2Add cereal; let stand until softened

3COMBINE remaining dry ingredients; stir into cereal mixture only until moistened.

4DO NOT OVER MIX.

5Fold in apple.

6SPOON into greased muffin pan, filling each cup three-quarters full.

7BAKE at 400F (200C) for 16 to 18 minutes.
