- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. honey
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 5 1/4 c. flour
- 2 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. bran flakes, crushed
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Let set 15 minutes.

3Add honey, oil, salt and 3 cups flour. Beat well.

4Stir in bran flakes.

5Add remaining flour and knead 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

6Place in greased bowl, turn once to grease top. Cover and let rise until double.

7Punch down. Let rest 15 minutes. Shape into 2 loaves and place in greased loaf pans.

8Let rise until double.

9Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
