- 2 c. 100% bran flakes
- 1 c. Crisco (canola oil)
- 3 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 qt. buttermilk (low-fat)
- 5 c. flour
- 5 tsp. soda
- 4 c. All-Bran cereal
- 1/2 box raisins (optional)
Directions

1Pour boiling water over bran flakes.

2Add Crisco.

4Add remaining ingredients.

5Stir together.

6Bake at 400° for 15 to 22 minutes.

7(Better if batter is chilled.) Batter will keep in refrigerator for 6 to 7 weeks.
