  • 1 c. Nabisco 100% Bran Buds
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening or margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. Kellogg's All-Bran

Directions

    Add boiling water to Bran Buds.

    Set aside to cool.

    Cream together remaining ingredients.

    Add the cooled bran and water mixture; stir lightly.

    This batter can be stored in a covered bowl in the refrigerator and bake as needed.

    Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.

    Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen muffins.
