- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 c. All-Bran cereal
- 5 c. whole wheat flour
- 5 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1 c. shortening (I use oil)
- 4 eggs, beaten well
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 4 c. Grape-Nuts
Directions

1Pour boiling water over

2All-Bran; let stand until cool.

3Sift flour, baking soda and salt (put aside).

4Cream sugar, honey and shortening.

5Add eggs.

6Blend in buttermilk, Grape-Nuts and All-Bran mixture.

7Stir in dry ingredients.

8Store in gallon jar in refrigerator.

9It will keep up to 6 weeks.
