- 2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 5 c. plain flour, sifted twice
- 5 tsp. baking soda
- 3 tsp. salt
- 4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
Directions

1Pour boiling water over bran and let cool.

2Cream Crisco and sugar.

3Add eggs, one at a time, then add buttermilk.

4Add flour and baking soda.

5Fold in water and bran.

6Fold in Kellogg's All-Bran.

7Makes 1 gallon.

8Keeps 6 weeks in the refrigerator. Fill muffin tins 1/2 full and bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
