  • 1 c. unprocessed bran
  • 2 c. Kellogg's All Bran
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. oil
  • 2 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Soak 2 brans together. Mix and let cool. Beat eggs; add sugar and mix well. Sift together flour, salt and soda. Alternate other ingredients (bran, oil, flour and buttermilk). Mix well. Spoon into paper muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes or more.
