- 4 eggs
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 1 c. oil
- 2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/4 c. wheat germ (may be omitted)
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 5 tsp. soda
- 2 c. sugar (or half honey may be used)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (16 oz.) box bran flakes
Directions

1Beat eggs; add buttermilk and oil.

2Stir in flour.

3Add soda, sugar and salt.

4Add bran flakes.

5Stir.

6Put into greased muffin tins.

7Bake at 375° until done.

8Keep unused batter in refrigerator and use when needed.

9A half batch may be made.
