- 4 lb. peaches
- cloves
- 4 lb. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. water
- 1 egg white
- 1 pt. white brandy
Directions

1Pare peaches.

2Insert 2 cloves in each whole peach.

3Make a syrup of the sugar and water.

4Add egg white, beaten to a froth. Skim.

5Add fruit, 1 layer at a time, and boil 5 minutes or until thickened.

6Remove from heat.
-
7Add brandy and pour over fruit in jars.

8Seal at once in sterilized jars.

9Makes 5 pints.
