Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy or whipping cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (I use extra)
- 10 squares (10 ounces) semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 to 2 tablespoons brandy
Directions

1In a 2 quart saucepan, heat sugar, cream, and butter to boiling over medium high heat.

2Remove saucepan from heat.

3Add chocolate to cream mixture and whisk until chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth.

4Stir in vanilla and brandy.

5Pour into a jelly roll pan and refrigerate until spreadable, at least 30 minutes.
