- 6 to 8 bratwurst
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. flour (approximately)
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Brown brats in skillet on all sides.

2Cover with water.

3Cut potatoes into spears and place on top of brats.

4Sprinkle pepper on potatoes.

5Cover skillet and cook slowly until potatoes are done, approximately 20 minutes.

6Remove brats and potatoes from liquid.

7Slowly add flour to liquid, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

8Add milk, brats and potatoes in that order and cook slowly until thickened.
