- 4 slices buttered bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. sliced Brazil nuts
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Cut buttered bread into finger-width pieces.

2Arrange in layers in buttered baking dish, sprinkling each layer with Brazil nuts.

3Beat eggs slightly, add sugar, salt, vanilla and milk.

4Mix well and pour over bread.

5Garnish top with Brazil nuts and bake in slow oven (325°) for 1 hour.
