- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- garlic
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces and liquid
- 2 c. hot water
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
- 1 1/2 c. peeled and chopped tomatoes
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
Directions

1Saute rice, garlic and mushrooms in oil until rice begins to brown.

2Stir in hot water and onion soup.

3Add tomatoes, salt and oregano.

4Pour into casserole. Cover and bake for 35 minutes at 350°.
