- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and set aside.

2Mix sugar, salt, water and shortening to your yeast.

3Then add flour until dough is stiff.

4Let rise for 15 to 20 minutes, then beat down.

5Let rise for 15 to 20 minutes, then cook for 30 to 35 minutes at 400°.
