- 1 large Tbsp. shortening, melted
Directions

1Put all ingredients together and let it stand until yeast is entirely dissolved.

2Put 14 level cups flour (sifted) into a large bowl.

3Add the liquid mixture and mix.

4Let it raise twice its size.

5Bake 50 minutes at 350°.
