  • 5 (5/8-inch) thick slices bread
  • 2 Tbsp. soft margarine
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 3 c. milk, scalded
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

    Butter a 10 x 6 1/2 x 1 3/4-inch glass baking dish.

    Toast bread lightly.

    Butter while hot with margarine.
