- 4 c. milk, scalded
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 slightly beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg
- 1/2 c. seedless raisins (if desired)
