  • 4 c. milk
  • 2 c. Pepperidge Farm bread
  • 2/3 c. raisins
  • 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Directions

    Scald milk.

    Mix bread with raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, salt and vanilla.

    Pour milk over mixture.

    Mix 4 eggs slightly beaten.

    Add melted butter to eggs.

    Pour into milk and bread mixture and put in a large bowl.

    Place bowl in pan of water. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
