  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. bread cubes
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Directions

    Scald milk.

    Pour over bread cubes.

    Combine the sugar, salt and beaten eggs.

    Add to the milk and bread.

    Then add the vanilla, butter and raisins.

    Pour into a lightly greased pudding dish.

    Set the dish in a shallow pan of hot water and bake in a 325° oven for about 45 minutes.
