  • 6 slices of raisin bread
  • 3 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Directions

    Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes to measure about 3 cups. Place in 9 inch pie plate and microwave uncovered on high for 4 mins. stirrgin once. Whisk eggs and remaing ingredients. Slowly pour over bread, pressing bread gently into custard. Microwave, uncovered on high for 8 mins. Cover and let stand for 15 mins. before serving.
