- 8 cups white bread
- 2 14 cups milk
- 2 34 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 12 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 14 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions

1Cube bread and place in a greased 13in x 9in x 2in baking dish.

2In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk,1-3/4 cup cream, 1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup melted butter, vanilla and cinnamon.

3Pour evenly over bread.

4Bake uncovered at 350* for 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

5Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.

6Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, bring 1 cup sugar, water, and lemon juice to a boil.

7Reduce heat to medium; cook until sugar is dissolved and amber color.

8Stir in 2 tablespoons butter until melted.

9Add 1 cup cream.

10Remove from the heat.

11Serve with bread pudding.
