- 1 pt. breadcrumbs
- 4 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 4 egg whites
Directions

1Put scalded milk in breadcrumbs.

2Add 4 egg yolks, sugar, butter and grated rind of lemon.

3Bake in 325° oven for 35 minutes.

4Beat egg whites into confectioners sugar until stiff. Spread over bread pudding to seal.

5Set into a 350° oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
