  • -3-4 pieces of white bread
  • -Coconut
  • -Golden Raisins
  • -Pecan pieces
  • -1 egg
  • -1/2 C sugar
  • -1 3/4 C milk
  • -1 t vanilla

    1. Butter a 1 quart casserole dish

    2. Break bread into pieces and layer at the bottom of the dish

    3. Sprinkle coconut, raisins and pecans over the top

    4. In a separate bowl, beat 1 egg, then add sugar, milk and vanilla, then pour the mixture over bread

    5. Put slices of butter on top and bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes, or until lightly brown
