- cauliflower, broken into flowerets
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. milk
- pinch of salt
- fine bread or cereal crumbs
Directions

1Break cauliflower into flowerets.

2(Soak in cold, salted water to remove any bugs.)

3Parboil in salted water for 10 minutes; drain water immediately to stop cooking.

4In a small bowl, break and slightly beat the egg, milk and pinch of salt.

5In another bowl, place the bread or cereal crumbs.

6Dip cauliflower into egg mixture; coat well, then dip into crumbs.

7Cover well.

8Fry in oil or shortening until brown, turning to brown all sides.
