- a large cauliflower or 2 smaller ones
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. milk
- 2 c. crumbs (bread or cereal)
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Break cauliflower into flowerets.

2Soak in salted cold water to wash and get rid of any aphides.

3Parboil in salted water about 10 minutes.

4Drain water and run under cold water to stop cooking. Into small bowl, break and slightly beat egg, milk and pinch of salt.

5Into another bowl put 1 cup crumbs.

6Add more crumbs as needed.

7Dip each floweret into egg mixture.

8Coat well, then into crumbs.

9Fry in hot oil until brown, turning to brown all sides.
