Breaded Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 to 4 Tbsp. water
  • 6 pork chops (about 1 1/2 lb.)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, except pork chops and water.

    Place the chops in a pan 9 or 10-inches in diameter.

    On top of each chop, place some of the bread mixture.

    If chops are to be baked for 3 hours at 275° then put 2 tablespoons of water in pan.

    If chops are to be baked for 4 to 5 hours at 250°, then put 4 tablespoons of water in pan.

    Cover and bake.

    Serve hot.
