- 4 to 6 large thick pork chops
- 2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. water
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 c. Crisco shortening
- 1 egg
Directions

1Put flour in one pie plate, bread crumbs in the other and beat egg, oil and water in the 3rd one.

2Roll pork chops (each one) in flour first, then egg mixture and then bread crumbs.

3Do chops on both sides.

4Put the wire rack across your sink and place each pork chop on the rack to dry after you have rolled it in the bread crumbs, 1/2 hour to dry.
