Ingredients

  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 c. plain flour
  • 1 stick margarine, melted

Directions

    Pour boiling water over Crisco and set aside to melt.

    Pour warm water over the yeast and let dissolve.

    Beat eggs with fork and add to cooled waters.

    Add sugar, salt and flour; mix well. Cover in large bowl to rise overnight.

    Roll out on floured surface and cut with biscuit cutter.

    Dip in melted margarine and stack in 2 Bundt pans.

    Let rise until double in bulk.

    Bake until brown at 400° for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
