- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3/4 Tbsp. salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 stick oleo, melted
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water along with sugar.

2In large bowl, pour boiling water over shortening.

3Let melt, then when cool, add salt, egg, flour and yeast water.

4Mix well and refrigerate overnight.

5Roll dough out to 1/4-inch thickness.

6Cut with biscuit cutter and dip in melted oleo.

7Place in oiled Bundt pan.

8Let rise 2 to 3 hours.

9Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
