- 4 slices bread, cubed
- 1 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
- 9 eggs, beaten
- 3 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese (sharp)
- 1 tsp. salt
- fresh parsley sprigs for garnish
Directions

1Place bread crumbs (cubes) in bottom of a greased 2 1/2-quart baking dish; set aside.

2Cook sausage until browned, stirring to crumble; drain well.

3Combine sausage, eggs, milk, cheese and salt in a large bowl.

4Stir well.

5Pour over bread cubes.

6Cover and refrigerate overnight.

7Bake uncovered at 350° for 50 minutes or until golden brown and set.

8Remove from oven and garnish.

9Cut into squares to serve.

10Yields 12 servings.
