- 3 to 4 bread slices, cubed
- 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 9 large eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions

1Cook sausage in a skillet, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink; drain well.

2Arrange bread cubes in bottom of a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Top with sausage and cheese.

3Whisk together eggs and next 4 ingredients; pour evenly over cheese. Cover and chill 8 hours.

4Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until set.
