- 12 slices White Bread
- 3/4 pounds Shaved Ham
- 4 ounces, weight Canned Mushrooms
- 1-3/4 cup Mild Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 6 Beaten Eggs
- 3 cups Milk
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
- 1 cup Dry Bread Crumbs
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
Directions

1Grease a 9x13 glass dish.

2Cut crust from the 12 slices of bread. Line the dish with the bread.

3Layer the 6 slices of ham, add the cheese and mushrooms.

4Cover with the remaining bread.

5In a large bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt & dry mustard. Pour over the casserole and top with the bread crumbs. Dot with the butter and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.

6Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
