- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1 loaf French or Italian bread, sliced
- 3 c. milk
- 6 to 8 eggs
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced cheese
Directions

1Cook sausage and drain off grease.

2Slice bread 1/2-inch thick.

3Line bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking dish, greased.

4Lay bread in dish and sprinkle sausage over top.

5Reserve about 1/4 to sprinkle on top.

6Beat eggs and milk.

7Pour over sausage.

8Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

9Lay cheese on top and rest of sausage and bake until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
