  • 8 slices white bread, broken into pieces
  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
  • 3 c. cheese, shredded (sharp)
  • 2 3/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions

    Place bread in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole.

    Shred cheese and place on top of bread. Sprinkle sausage over cheese. Mix 2 1/4 cups milk, mustard and eggs together and pour over casserole. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.

    Mix the soup with 1/2 cup milk and pour over casserole. Cook 1 1/2 hours at 300°.
