Ingredients
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 6 slices white bread
- 8 eggs
- 2 c. evaporated milk
- butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Crumble sausage and fry; drain well.

2Spread bread with butter. Cut into cubes and cover bottom of 9 x 14-inch pan (sprayed with Pam).

3(Frozen bread slices are easier to work with.)

4Sprinkle drained sausage over bread.

5Beat eggs well, then add evaporated milk and salt.

6(I use garlic salt.)

7Beat until fluffy then pour egg mixture over sausage and bread.

8Cover with grated cheese.

9(I also put some of cheese into egg mixture before pouring onto bread and sausage.)

10Refrigerate overnight (covered with foil).

11Bake next morning for 35 to 40 minutes in 350° oven.
