- 6 slices bread
- 6 eggs
- milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- sausage, bacon or ham
- American cheese slices or shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan with butter.

2Butter top of six slices of bread and place in bottom of pan.

3Beat 6 eggs together and mix with milk to equal a quarter (4 cups).

4Place cheese slices or shredded cheese on bread slices.

5Cover with meat.

6Season with salt and pepper.

7Pour egg mixture over all.

8Cover and let set in refrigerator overnight.

9Bake uncovered at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
