Ingredients

  • 3-4 slices stale bread, cut into cubes
  • 2 c. cubed, cooked ham, 1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained, or 1 lb. bacon, fried, drained and crumbled
  • 8-10 eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried mustard
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

    Grease or spray a 9x13 inch baking dish.

    Toss bread cubes into bottom.

    Combine meat, eggs, milk, mustard and pepper.

    Pour over bread.

    Top with cheese.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight. Uncover and bake about 1 hour at 350°, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
