- 8 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. cheese
- 1 lb. sausage (mild or hot)
- 6 to 8 pieces fried bacon
- 1 jar mushrooms
- 1 loaf French bread
Directions

1Cut French bread into medium size slices and layer them in the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch greased pan.

2Brown sausage and drain excess grease.

3Beat eggs and add milk and mix.

4Fold in mushrooms. Pour 1/2 egg mixture over bread.

5Spoon 1/2 sausage on top of this, then sprinkle cheese.

6Sprinkle crumbed bacon over this.

7Layer again in same order.

8Let sit overnight or at least 1 to 2 hours in refrigerator so that the bread soaks up the egg mixture.

9Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
