  • 8 slices bread
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sharp cheese
  • 3/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. regular mustard
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Break bread into small pieces.

    Line bottom of an oiled 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle sausage over bread; add cheeses.

    Combine both milks with eggs; stir in seasonings and pour over the sausage mixture.

    Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.

    Bring to almost room temperature and bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
