  • 2 lb. sausage, bacon or ham
  • 3 to 4 slices white bread or hash browns
  • 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 jar Cheez Whiz
  • sour cream
  • salsa

Directions

    Cook meat and drain; butter 9 x 13 pan. Put in layer of white bread cubes or hash browns. Put meat on top of bread or hash browns. Add layer of Cheddar cheese. Pour over the mixture: 4 beaten eggs, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 cups milk. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325° for 1 hour (covered). Add onion and green peppers to top. Also add microwaved Cheez Whiz on top. Also can add sour cream and salsa for topping.
