  • very thin bread slices
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms
  • butter
  • 3/4 lb. precooked ham, slivered
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • bread crumbs

    casserole. Saute mushrooms in butter and alternate layers of

    Cover with bread slices. Beat eggs, milk, salt and mustard.

    Pour egg mixture over casserole. Sprinkle

    with bread crumbs; dot with butter. Refrigerate overnight. Bake

    in a 350° oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
