Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 4 c. milk (hot)
  • 1/2 tsp. onion salt
  • 8 slices toasted white bread, cubed and buttered
  • 1/2 c. Velveeta cheese
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. or more bacon, fried or crumbled or 1/2 c. ham, cubed
  • 1/4 c. diced celery
  • 1/4 c. green pepper

    Beat eggs (don't overbeat).

    Blend in spices, stir in hot milk.

    Fold in bread, cheese and meat.

    Pour in 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour. You may use bacon or ham or just one.
