  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 qt. Italian sauce (for pasta)
  • oregano
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
  • 10 slices American cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pkg. pepperoni, thinly sliced

    Brown ground beef with onion in oil.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Drain grease.

    Add ground beef to Italian pasta sauce.

    Add some oregano and simmer for 1/2 hour.

    While it simmers, boil noodles in boiling salted water about 15 minutes; drain them.

    Fill a 9 x 15-inch pan with alternate layers of noodles, cheese, tomato-meat sauce and pepperoni, ending with noodles and sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.

    Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes.
