Ingredients

  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 3 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. pork sausage (such as Jimmy Dean or Owens)
  • 1 can buttermilk biscuits

Directions

    Saute sausage and onions.

    Drain. Combine other ingredients except biscuits.

    Place in an 11 x 7-inch oblong baking dish.

    May refrigerate overnight. Divide biscuits in halves or fourths and place on top. Bake at 350° until biscuits are brown. Serves 6 to 8.
