  • 1 pkg. thawed Ore Ida hash browns (with green and red peppers if desired)
  • 1 qt. half and half
  • 1 doz. eggs
  • 1 lb. hot Italian sausage (or regular sausage)
  • 1 pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
  • seasoning to taste (mushrooms and onions can also be added if desired)

Directions

    Beat eggs, half and half and seasonings.

    In 9 x 13 pan layer the hash browns and sausage.

    Pour egg mixture over the hash browns and sausage mixture.

    If you want, add cheese in layers. Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour or until done and golden brown.
