  • 2 c. sliced bread, broken into small pieces
  • 1 lb. mild sausage, browned, crumbled and drained
  • 1 c. sharp grated cheese
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions

    Layer bread pieces in bottom of greased 13 x 8 x 2-inch casserole. Spread browned sausage over bread.

    Sprinkle with grated cheese.

    Mix together beaten eggs, milk, salt and mustard. Pour over casserole.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    The next day, bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
