- 6 slices bread
- butter
- 1 lb. bulk sausage
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. half and half
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Remove crust from bread.

2Spread slices with butter.

3Place buttered side down in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

4Set aside.

5Cook sausage, stirring to crumble.

6Spoon over bread. Sprinkle with cheese.

7Combine eggs, half and half and salt.

8Mix well.

9Pour over cheese.

10Cover and chill overnight.

11Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.

12Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until eggs are set.
