  • 6 to 8 slices bread, crusts removed
  • 1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
  • 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 5 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. light cream
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Oil a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Cube bread and line dish with bread.

    Top with crumbled sausage, cheeses and sliced mushrooms. To beaten eggs, add cream, milk and seasonings.

    Pour over casserole and refrigerate overnight.

    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.
