Ingredients

  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. uncooked oats
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. cornflake crumbs
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

    Sift flour, soda and salt.

    Cream sugars and Crisco.

    Add eggs and beat well.

    Add flour mixture, then other ingredients.

    Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.

    Bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Can add coconut and raisins or substitute for chocolate chips.
